A SPECIALIST travel firm has broadened its horizons since it launched in Bury more than five years ago.
Thomson Al Fresco is bucking the credit crunch by reporting strong UK booking trends for this year.
The company, which offers family camping holidays at “parcs” in Europe, has seen a rise in trading of 40 per cent.
The firm, at Balmoral House, Pilsworth, comes under the Thomson Holidays “umbrella” and began life in November, 2003.
The business has grown steadily and now employs double the original 15-strong workforce, with more than 100 seasonal staff manning its European resorts in the summer.
Al Fresco has expanded its range of destinations to include, Croatia, Holland and Portugal, on top of its original offerings of France, Italy and Spain.
