I AM in total agreement with Immigration attempting to return Miss Shauba and child back to Nigeria, The Bury Times, January 29.
If, as she says, she was raped and beaten, she knows full well that she should have gone to the nearest country where she would have been safe and that cannot possibly be Britain. She admits she has no family in Britain. How many young British women in the same situation could afford to or would travel half way round the world for the same reasons?
The UK cannot possibly take in everyone who considers themselves badly treated in their own country.
This woman and thousands like her should be sent back immediately. Our own people are in dire need of help.
Had enough
