ANSWERING the call for everyone under 25 to be vaccinated against polio was Radcliffe Council’s youngest member, Councillor Leslie Berkeley.
The 24-year-old was joined by his wife Valerie, aged 21, and their 10-month-old daughter Denise.
They all received their first injection from the assistant divisional medical officer of health at Radcliffe Clinic.
They were the second complete Radcliffe family to be inoculated, following in the footsteps of a family-of-three from Outwood.
Cllr Berkeley said: “Immunisation against polio is a fine thing.
“I think everyone who has the opportunity ought to take advantage of it.”
