A CHANGE of work roles proved just the job for staff and directors at Wheeldon Brothers Waste in Heap Bridge.
Office staff, including two directors, wore a yard uniform at lunchtime during Red Nose Day, swapping jobs with the picking line men at the company’s base at the Yeargate Industrial Estate.
They had to separate recycling waste from smelly rubbish before taking part in an exercise class, complete with protective clothing and hard hats.
Thanks to cake sales and generous staff and customers, the company’s fun event raised more than £100 for Comic Relief.
