IS anyone brave enough to venture out for a walk in the dark during Halloween?
That’s the invitation from Bury’s Village Hotel which is staging a midnight walk to Peel Tower in aid of the Variety Club of Great Britain.
Those taking up the challenge will make their way from the hotel in Waterfold Park to the Hare & Hounds pub in Holcombe Brook before the walk starts at 11.30pm on Saturday.
The trek also takes in local moorland and the event should last about two hours.
Tomorrow evening, the hotel is holding a fancy dress party, also in aid of the Variety Club.
Around 25 staff, together with their friends and family, are supporting the fundraising.
