FESTIVE cheer came to Sunny Bank Primary School in Bury with all the traditional trappings.
More than £1,000 was raised at its Christmas fair, where guest of honour was Father Christmas himself, who arrived on a sleigh kindly donated by Bury Lions.
Besides all the traditional stalls, there was biscuit decorating, face painting, and pupils serenaded visitors with a selection of beautifully sung carols.
Mr Mike Green, headteacher of the Hathaway Road school, said: “It was a fantastic occasion, full of festive cheer.
“We would like to thank everyone who supported us and helped raise so much for school funds.”
