SIX Town Housing has been granted an 18-month injunction against a Bury tenant following incidents of nuisance, such as shouting and fighting.

The order prevents Roxanne Carter, of Massey Street, from playing loud music and allowing visitors to her property.

Complaints regarding disturbances at Miss Carter’s property were received shortly after she moved into her property in September this year.

She was issued with several warnings for breach of tenancy which council officials say were disregarded.

Six Town Housing, who manage the borough’s council houses, applied for an injunction which was granted at Bury County Court and lasts until March 31, 2011. The tenant could face eviction or a prison sentence if the order is broken.
