IT’S full steam ahead for East Lancashire Railway’s Santa Specials after a surge in bookings.
The vintage steam locomotive runs from Bury to Ramsbottom with every child receiving a visit and gift from Father Christmas.
There are still places available on the Santa Specials, which operate every weekend in the run-up to Christmas and also midweek on December 22, 23 and 24. For details: call 0161 764 7790.
