YOUR correspondent, Bury Times, December 3, commenting on the state of the timber cladding on the ‘new’ Moorgate Primary Care Centre hit a chord with me.
I too am appalled by the state of the timber which makes the building already look in need of restoration.
The side of the new Rock development facing the Primary Care Centre and clad in similar timber, whilst looking pristine at present, will also soon appear dowdy and in need of some treatment once rained on for a year.
Whoever sanctioned this material to be used for such a prestigious development should be fired at the earliest opportunity!
