Amy Halliday, a new recruit for Ramsbottom-based A-Star Recruitment
AN educational agency has marked the start of 2020 with an important new hire.
Amy Halliday has joined Ramsbottom-based A-Star Tuition as a GCSE teacher.
A fully-qualified tutor, she has 15 years experience and formerly worked for training providers and Bury College.
Her role at the agency, which was established by Helen Wilson 11 years ago, will see her focus on English Language exams with small student groups.
Amy said: "I joined A Star Tuition Group to make a real difference to teenagers. Helen has such an amazing reputation and success that I felt honoured to be given the chance to work for her."
Recently A-Star was named 'tuition group of the year' for the region in the Corporate Livewire Manchester Prestige Awards.
