FORMER Shakers star Jimmy Greenhalgh has passed away, aged 90.
The Manchester-born half-back made 125 appearances for Bury over four years between 1950 and 1954 and also played for Wigan and Gillingham.
Later in his career he managed Darlington for a short spell and worked as a scout for Newcastle United and Sunderland.
