RAMSBOTTOM Cricket Club are on the lookout for a new crop of talented youngsters after helping three of their stars of the double-winning under-15s team earn county honours.
Chris Round, Will Turner and Owen Collinge have become regular members of the Lancashire set-up over the past four or five seasons.
Will attends Woodhey High School and is an opening batsman and spin bowler.
In his fifth season with Lancashire he was also selected to play for the North of England at the Bunbury Festival.
Will captained Ramsbottom's u15s as well as the Bury district team and played a part in Ramsbottom senior's Lancashire League title-winning team.
Fellow Woodhey High School pupil Owen is a right-arm seam bowler and left-handed batsman.
As well as competing in his fourth season with Lancashire he also played for Bury District and the Lancashire League inter-league team.
Owen's performances earned him the u15s' joint player-of-the-year award and a regular role for the senior second and third teams.
Chris, of Haslingden High School, is a left-arm spinner and lower-order batsman in his fourth season with Red Rose. He has also represented Bury District as well as the u15s and the third team at Ramsbottom.
With the club's commitment to promoting players through the ranks, they always need new members and will be starting their junior training in January.
