Two Radcliffe Athletic Club runners were in long-distance action in the Lake District.
Neil Greenhalgh clocked 4:14:06 in the Lakeland Trails Marathon which is billed as ‘the most scenic trail marathon in Britain’.
The course was a lap of Coniston Water and Greenhalgh finished 49th out of a field of 221.
Sarah Jackson also enjoyed beautiful views at the 20-mile Montane Trail Ullswater Way, completing the lap of Ullswater in 7:18:48.
Lee Cooper finished the Leeds Triathlon in 2:44:08. It consisted of a 1.5k swim, a 36.2k bike ride and a 10k run.
Julie Robertson was second Vet-50 when she clocked 46:50 in the Heaton Park Chase the Sun 10k.
And a week after walking the Pennine Way, John McNicoll completed the national three Peaks Challenge climbing the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon – in less than 24 hours.
