RADCLIFFE have secured the return of Callum Grogan ahead of the new season.
The defender made 132 appearances and scored 12 goals for Boro in his first spell, departing to join divisional rivals Warrington Town last summer.
Grogan made eight appearances in a Wire shirt during the Covid-curtailed 2020-21 campaign before suffering a serious knee injury.
Now the former player of the year and players’ player of the year is back to boost Lee Fowler’s defence in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
The Liverpudlian was a professional with Shrewsbury Town before making the move to the Neuven Stadium where he became a real favourite.
Grogan was a key man in the side that secured promotion to the NPL’s top flight in 2019 and was no stranger to captaining Jon Macken’s side.
