THREE Bury ABC boxers travelled to North Wales on Saturday with two winning their bouts.
The trio were competing at the George Edward Hall in Cefn Mawr, near Wrexham.
Sixteen-year-old Amaani Afsar, fighting at 57kg, won unanimously on points against Jack Jones , of llay ABC.
Meanwhile, 18-year-old Zakir Khan stopped his opponent in the second round after the referee had given him two standing counts. He beat Ben Rowlands (Maelor ABC) at 68kg.
Wakas Afridi , aged 17, saw his fight also stopped in round two, but in favour of his opponent, Gwion Ellis, also of Maelor ABC, at 67kg.
