A tennis club side has made history after winning another title.

Prestwich Tennis Club's men's A team has won the Manchester and District Lawn Tennis League title for the third year in a row.  

The achievement is a first for the club, which was founded in 1891.

The club has been an integral part of the community in North Manchester, fostering a passion for tennis and camaraderie among its members.

Over the years, it has grown and developed, adapting to meet the needs of its players and members.

Coach Paul Jepson, whose guidance and support have been instrumental in the team's success, expressed his elation over the league success.

He said: "I couldn't be prouder of our men's A team.

"Winning the Manchester and District Lawn Tennis League three years in a row is a testament to the team’s hard work, commitment and dedication to the sport.

The hat-trick has been marked by some outstanding performances and great team spirit with players from the men’s B team also contributing to their success and retaining the league trophy has brought immense pride to the Prestwich Tennis Club community.
