Terry Cummings has agreed to join the Rams for the forthcoming season.
The former Lancaster and Clitheroe winger, 27, has also played for the likes of Kendal Town, Nelson, Burscough and most recently Colne.
“I was very happy when the managing staff asked me to come down for pre-season,” said Cummings.
“Ramsbottom is a great club to be a part of with a great squad to boot. I’m really excited for this new season to start.”
Manager Steve Wilkes commented on the new addition to his squad:
“Finally after about 4 attempts I’ve got Terry! I’ve been after him for a while now but it just never happened.
“Terry is a quality addition to the squad. One of the best wingers I’ve seen at this level and above. Unfortunately he’s had a few injuries over the past 18 months so hopefully we can get him fit and get him back to the player he was before his injury.”
Brad Rose has once again joined Ramsbottom United on loan from Radcliffe for the season.
A huge thank you to Jonno for his help in getting this one over the line — we really appreciate the support.
Brad is a player who should be operating at a higher level, but after his injury on Boxing Day, he’s made it clear he’s got unfinished business in a Rams jersey.
His commitment and belief in this club means a lot.
Manager Steve Wilkes was delighted to have the young stopper back at the HWRS.
“Really pleased to get an agreement done to bring Brad back to Ramsbottom,” said Wilkes.
“Everyone can see what a quality keeper he is and he’s only going to get better at 21 and hopefully he stays injury free for the season ahead.”
