The Shakers’ Christmas auction, in aid of the Children’s Ward at Fairfield Hospital, has already exceeded expectations and there is no sign of the frantic bidding action slowing down.
The team wore the new limited edition 125th anniversary kit for Saturday’s game with Barnet and all matchworn shirts were placed into Bury’s eBay shop.
The highest individual auction at the moment is Efe Sodje’s matchworn and signed limited edition shirt, which currently stands at £175.
The bidding for all items ends at around 7pm on Saturday evening, and the current grand total stood at more than £1,200 on Wednesday morning.
