Walshaw turned in their most inept display of the season when they were beaten at the Manchester League Premier Division’s bottom club Hollinwood.
In an uninspiring first 45 minutes Walshaw found themselves a goal behind after a poor clearance by Ince.
Walshaw forced their way back into the game with goals from Luke Chapman and Dominic Slaven but failed to build on it and Hollinwood scored two late goals to take a deserved three points.
Walshaw return to Hollinwood on Saturday in the semi -inal of the Gilchryst Cup, kick off 3pm.
Walshaw Reserves beat Monton 3-2.
