RADCLIFFE Borough lost 4-3 for the second successive last weekend – this time at Prescot Cables.
Conor McCarthy put the hosts ahead in the 13th minute when he struck a sweet volley past Chris Cheetham in the Boro goal.
Boro had to wait until the 57th minute to level when Matty Chadwick scored past his former team-mate Nick Culkin from six yards.
Just a minute later, however, Michael Smith put Prescot back in front with a header into the top corner. Culkin made a blunder in the 71st minute, missing a backpass that allowed Caldon Henson to equalise.
Straight from the restart, Henson had his fourth goal of the season after rounding Culkin. The lead only lasted six minutes when an underhit back pass to Chris Cheetham allowed Robert Doran to level.
The hosts grabbed a winner with two minutes remaining when an Enzo Benn shot flew into the top corner.
