Plant lovers and green-fingered locals are being encouraged to visit Greenmount next week as the horticultural society prepares to host a plant sale.
The Tottington and District Horticultural Society will be holding a plant sale next weekend, Saturday, June 3, in the yard of Greenmount Old School on Brandlesholme Road in Greenmount.
The event will begin at 8.30am on Saturday and last until they have sold up, which is typically around the early afternoon.

Dorothy Heaton, secretary for Tottington and District Horticultural Society, has encouraged people to browse the “high-quality plants” and assured people that they will set at a “reasonable price”.

She added that most of the merchandise will be bedding plants and that everyone is welcome to come and look around at what is on offer.
