A huge litter pick will take place in Radcliffe at the weekend as community groups push for businesses and residents to get involved.

Radcliffe Litter Pickers will be holding the community clean up on Saturday, January 28 from 10am until 2pm.

To mark the end of their "community week", the group is hoping for as many local businesses as possible to join the "meet up and clean up" event.

Volunteer Gill Smith said: "We're hoping to get as many people and businesses down to help out and lend a hand.

"We won't be picking for the full four hours, people can choose however long they want to join us as long as it's in the time frame."
