A Prestwich cabaret night is returning to the village next week with a range of talent and acts.
Shangri La! is returning on Friday, March 24 at the Carlton Club on Bury Old Road, located opposite Heaton Park.
The event originally started at the Church Inn pub in Prestwich before moving to the Church Institute and finally the Carlton Club.
Since forming the event, the likes of Arthur Brown, the god of hellfire, and Tony Longfella Walsh, have performed at the evenings.
The upcoming event will consist of music, theatre, film, acoustic acts, stand-up, spoken word, dance and live bands.

The Spring Equinox Shangri La! line-up will feature James Holt, Pico (Pete Kennedy) and Blue Java.

Tickets are £10 with cash on the door accepted.
Doors will open at 8pm with the first act on stage 9pm.
