A campaign in 2021 was led by organisations in Bury in 16 days of activist for the prevention of violence against women.

The theme of this year's campaign was #AllMenCan and was asking everyone to spread the message that violence against women must be stopped, following the recent murder of Sarah Everard by Metropolitan Police officer Wayne Couzens.

The tragic case brought violence against women to the forefront of the national conversation, with statistics showing 87.8 per cent of women had experienced emotional abuse and that 66.6 per cent had experienced jealous or controlling behaviour.
