Turning on the lights will be "local hero" Les Edwards of Seedfield Sports Juniors FC.
Last month, the grassroots football club has received huge support after "mindless acts of violence” prevented hundreds of young footballers from playing.
Around £20,000 worth of equipment was reported to have been stolen from the club when five pitches were destroyed on October 12.
Following the incident young players have been helping to raise funds to bring football back to the club.
