Traffic is slow moving after an accident on a major motorway route this morning, Monday.
One lane was closed on the exit slip road on the M66 Southbound at junction 3 for the Pilsworth Interchange.
Drivers took to social media to warn others of the accident around an hour ago.
Traffic data system Inrix reported said: "Slow traffic and lane closed on exit slip road due to car accident on M66 Southbound at J3 Pilsworth Road (Hollins)."
Motorway Cameras UK showed the accident took place at around 8am.
A spokesman said: "There is one of two lanes closed. Normal traffic conditions are expected between 9.30am and 9.45am on November 27."
The accident is now clear and traffic cameras show the area clear with traffic eased.
