A "large quantity" of cannabis has been found after a raid at an address in Bury.

Police carried out a warrant at a property in the Redvales area this morning, Friday.

And officers discovered a sizeable amount of cannabis at the site, while two men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

They are awaiting questioning in custody, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has said.

A spokesperson for GMP Bury said: “On Friday, January 26, officers from your Redvales, Prestwich and Moorside policing teams executed a section 23 Misuse of drugs act warrant in the Redvales area of Bury.

“Officers were also supported by Bury's neighbourhood tasking team.

“Upon entering the premises officers located a large quantity of cannabis within the address.

“Two males arrested for possession with intent to supply class B drug and are awaiting questioning in custody.
