Ramsbottom Concert Orchestra is welcoming new players to its rehearsals.
The group meet at St Francis House Community Centre on Hebburn Drive in Brandlesholme at 7.30pm on Thursdays.
String players and orchestral brass players are in particularly high demand.

A group spokesperson said: "We are a friendly orchestra and our musical director Barry Sugden makes our rehearsals both enjoyable and interesting.
"We start rehearsals at 7.30pm with a tea and biscuits break of 15 minutes and finish at 9.30pm."
