Police are appealing for assistance from the public to trace the next of kin of a man who died in Timperley.
GMP Trafford said Philip Townsend died at an address on Riddings Road on May 5 of this year.
Appealing for information about Mr Townsend in a post on social media this week they said there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
In UK law, there is no definition of next of kin, but it is understood to be the closest relative, whether a partner, parent, child or sibling.
Anyone with information about the next of kin of Mr Townsend can contact the Police Coroner's Office in Stockport on 0161 856 9681.
