Two men have been arrested after two robberies were at two borough tram stations.
The men were arrested on Wednesday at Prestwich and Heaton Park Metrolink stations as part of Greater Manchester Police's Operation Acquire.

Both men have been bailed pending further enquiries.
A GMP spokesperson said: “As part of Operation Acquire which is GMP’s response to acquisitive crime, Bury’s neighbourhood crime team arrested two males yesterday (Wednesday) on suspicion of robbery.

“The arrests came following an investigation into two recent robberies that occurred at Prestwich and Heaton Park Metrolink stations.
“Both males have been bailed pending further enquiries.

“Here at Bury we are committed to tackling acquisitive crime and will relentlessly pursue those who wish to cause harm in our communities.
