Lucky borough residents are in for a cash pay-out after their postcode was drawn today.

The People's Postcode Lottery's daily draw has picked a north Bury street in today's (August 13) draw, giving residents the chance to receive £1,000.

Ticket holders living in the postcode BL9 6LS off Chesham Road can claim their cash in the surprise midweek win.

The good news comes just a week after residents on Birch-Lea Close, next to Bury Football Club's grounds on Gigg Lane, woke up to the good news that their postcode had been picked.

And just a week before, participating residents on Betley Street in Radcliffe also won in the daily draw.
